How to make a stretchy bracelet

Short on time but want a unique new accessory? All you need is thread, beads, and the desire to create something special—we'll take care of the rest. The beauty of this bracelet, often called a "stretch bracelet," lies in its ease of use: it's simple to make, easy to put on, and easy to take off. It's so easy, in fact, that a friend of mine went crazy for it and now makes necklaces with this thread too. The trick is to layer several of these bracelets to create a striking look.

Materials:

1- 5 irregular turquoise stones.

2- Scissors.

3-5 Agate stones of 20mm.

4- Stretch thread (It can be 0.5mm, 0.7mm or 1mm, we use 0.7mm)

5-"Tassel" black leather.

6- Design table.

At the end of our design board, we'll place the semi-precious stones as we like. The bracelet size will vary from person to person. Always remember to measure yourself before tying the knot. This end of the board is used because it's designed for wrist size. The rest of the board is used for designing necklaces.

Step 2:

We then begin stringing the semiprecious stones onto the thread, alternating them according to your design. We won't cut the thread until we reach Step 6.

The semi-precious stone in this photo is called agate. Doesn't the pattern on this stone resemble a mosaic or a spiderweb? Perfect for Halloween!

Step 3:

We do the same, except now with turquoise, and continue stringing the stones, alternating them with the agates, as you can see in the photo of "Step 3".

Step 4 and 4a:

When we go through the center, we'll string the tassel. Then we continue stringing the stones until the bracelet is completely assembled.

Step 5:

The transition from contemplation to the satisfaction of a true designer. Now, we prepare to complete our masterpiece.

Step 6:

We cut the thread, keeping in mind that we need to leave at least 2 inches on each side to make our knot.

Step 7:

To close our bracelet, we just need to tie three knots (the basic ones we've known since we were little). It's important to tighten each knot well.

Tips & Tricks: We recommend adding a little E6000 glue to the knot.

Step 8:

We cut off all the excess thread, being careful not to cut too close to the knot.

...And voila, we created a unique bracelet in just a few minutes.

The satisfaction we will feel when someone tells us "How beautiful!" is only comparable to the satisfaction we will feel when we say:

I MADE IT MYSELF!
