Here we are again, inventing new ideas to inspire you to create. In today's project, we decided to make a costume for the upcoming Halloween. Remember the Pac-Man game? Well, we present to you its perfect match: Miss Pac-Man! You'll be surprised at how inexpensive and easy it is to make a beautiful costume.
Materials:
1- Poplin fabric: 2 yards.
2- Adhesive Spray
3- Foam: 2 pieces
4- Felt: 1 black sheet and 2 red sheets
5- Scissors
6- Wide elastic straps: 1 yard
7- Red headband
8- Needle
9- Thread

First step:
We begin by folding the foam into four equal parts. This will ensure that the circle intended to be Miss Pac-Man's body is perfectly round.

Second step:
Once folded into four equal parts, we must draw a semi-circle on one of the sides.

Third step:
Next, we cut out the foam using the semicircle as a guide. We repeat these steps with the second piece of foam, as we will need two circles (one for the front and one for the back of the costume).

Fourth, fifth and sixth steps:
Now that we have the Miss Pac-Man body cut out, we need to trace a triangle on the foam circle for the mouth. You can make this any size you think is appropriate, and it's very important to do this before covering the foam with the poplin fabric.

Seventh and eighth steps:
To begin covering the foam with fabric, cut a circle larger than the foam. Carefully spray the edges of the foam with adhesive spray and then carefully begin gluing the fabric. You can use a paper towel to remove any excess glue.

Ninth and tenth steps:
To make the mouth, take the red felt and fold it twice (into four equal parts, just like we did with the foam earlier). Then cut the square in half to make a semicircle and cut it in half again. This will give you Miss Pac-Man's two lips.

Eleventh step:
To make the eye, we used a glass to help us trace the perfect circle on the black felt. Then we cut out a triangle.

Finally, to make the bow, take the other sheet of red felt and gather it in the middle. Then thread the needle and tie a knot at the end. Pass the needle through the center of the felt, in the gathered area, and make several stitches until the bow is secure. Then, cut a thin strip of red felt to cover the stitched area and glue it to the red headband.
We mustn't forget the straps. We simply cut each of the elastic bands to approximately 18 inches (or your preferred length) and sew them to the foam, using the same simple stitches we used for the bow.
