Hi there! The quote in the image above is one of several inspirational quotes I keep around my office to help me push through the not-so-great days. This one in particular is from one of my favorite websites: The Every Girl, they're geared towards young entrepreneurial women. So, if you're a woman who's interested in creating a new business or if you already have your own jewelry business, trust me, you'll LOVE this site! Plus, Who said inspiration can't be pretty? #keepnotsettling
So, are you ready to learn how to make these beauties? We're actually having a tough time coming up with a name for them because, well...it's not just ONE technique. Keeping this in mind we finally settled on: FANCY. But we're still open to suggestions. What would you have named them? Let us know in the comments section below.
The materials we used for today's tutorial are high quality beads and findings. Have you heard of the company TierraCast? Both the Hammered Ring and the Hammered Links are made by them. We highly recommend these findings for two reasons: they're really well made and they're made in the U.S.A! How often can you say that?
The wire we used is Artistic Wire, which is also a very, very, very high quality wire that is THE designer's choice. Why? Because it won't tarnish or break.
